Privacy Policy

Mqrker LLC (“Mqrker”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the mqrker.com website and related services (“Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Google Sign-In. If you choose “Continue with Google” we receive your Google account name, email address and profile picture URL. We use these details only to create and display your Mqrker account.

Operational metadata. We store workspace-level information such as page owner, folder owner, comment actions (“comment clicker”) and similar activity details so that collaboration features work correctly.

Usage data. When you browse the Service we automatically record technical information (e.g. IP address, browser version, pages visited, time spent). We use this data to secure and improve the Service.

2. Legal Basis & Purposes

  • Provide and maintain the Service (legal basis: contract ).

  • Authenticate you and keep you signed in (legal basis: contract ).

  • Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug (legal basis: legitimate interests ).

  • Respond to enquiries and support requests (legal basis: legitimate interests ).

  • Comply with legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation ).

We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not send marketing e-mails.

3. Retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Server logs are stored for up to 90 days for security auditing. Back-ups are retained for 30 days.

4. Google API Disclosure

Mqrker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

5. Cookies

The Service sets only the cookies listed below:

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

6. Security & International Transfers

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (AES-256) in Supabase's Sydney, Australia data centre. Supabase is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and implements role-based access controls.

Because the data centre is outside New Zealand, this is an “overseas disclosure” under Privacy Act 2020 Principle 12. Supabase agrees to apply privacy safeguards comparable to those required in New Zealand.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and correct your personal information.

  • Request deletion of your account and related data.

  • Receive a machine-readable export of data you provided to us (data portability).

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

  • Complain to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner if you believe your privacy rights have been infringed.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy at mqrker.com/privacy-policy. If changes are material we will email registered users at least 14 days before they take effect.
